Young and Old

The end comes to all of us at sometime one way or another.  Sadly to say that it comes sooner to some.
This past week has been a mixed bag of emotions from one end of the scale to the other.  I've gotten to photograph happy times, times without a care in the world.  Then I turn around and photograph those that are experiencing the other end of life, where you can feel the weight of someones heavy burden.
I just finished up photographing, putting into words is extremely hard, the end of a very young boys life here on this earth.  I can take funerals as I know that this life is not the end for any of us.  I can take the passing of those that are ready to leave and pass on.  It very difficult when you have to say farewell to a once very health, happy and loved 3 month old little boy.
Is this the reason that I took up photography?  Looking at the memories that I have captured and shared with friends and family, I have to say yes.  I love being able to do this, capturing memoies that other wise might be forgotten.
Little Levi, you will be missed.
Yes after a short stay here in this world, you are Home Again.

Thank you Maughan family for asking me to take part.

These images will be treasured by the family for many years to come. It is so difficult to record the emotions of that day. I know you did so with a heavy heart.
