Stress Free Posing...Ya Right

Okay lets see by the raise of hands, how many of you  hate to come up with inspirational poses when doing a photo shoot?
Ahhhh, I see that Iam not the only one that struggles in the area posing mastery.

Posing subjects for a photo session has got to be one of my biggest nightmares.  I toss and turn all night before a photo session trying to come up with something that will WOW my clients.

You have found the perfect session location.  You have the perfect photogenic clients but your posing skills are just killing the photo session. What do you do?

(one of my not so good posses)

I am going to share with you what I consider to be my greatest find ever in the way of solving the posing wows.
I came across this great website called LEARN PHOTOGRAPHY FASTER, thanks to Jill Samter for turning me onto the link.

While reading through all their resources, there it was, STRESS FREE POSING: The Standard Edition.
Are you as excited as I was when I read the title?  STRESS FREE!!!  I read through the first couple of  paragraph, what are they going to teach me so that I don't have to fret and worry.  You mean that I don't have to have posing que cards scattered all over the ground?  I can quit writing up reminders on what I want to do, what I have seen done before that I want to try?  Oh that the photo session could only be simplified life would be grand.

Stress Free Posing States-
'The key to stress free posing is to make small adjustment in order to get a LOT of variety form one simple setup."
There are three main setups that I use in almost all my photo session
  • Standing
  • Sitting
  • Lying Down
Simply by altering where my subjects looks, faces or where the angle of the camera is, I can now come up with variety of new shots.

By the way, Learn Photography Faster has a FREE e-Book "The Shy Photographer’s Guide to Confidence E-Book"   that you might want to download and read.

Just some Tuesday Photo Food.

Leave me some comments if you found the Stress Free Posing Guide Helpful or if you have more ideas on how to make photo session posing less STRESSFUL.
