Sporting Life

So what do folks here in the west do to entertain their kids?  How do they keep them occupied when school is coming to an end?  They saddle up their older horse, the one they now classify as "The Baby-sitter" and head of to horsemanship classes.
I had the privilege being an assistant photographer at Smithfield, Utah's Health week.  My responsibilities were, the parade, games and rodeo.
I love small town parades and small country get together.  I especially love watching the kids.  It's all about them and they seem to know it.

A super precious photo. Her bright pink, rinestone studed shirt is great. The look on her face is so priceless.

A great portrait of a proud little girl. Love the hat.

A beautiful portrait right down to sparkly earrings on her little ears. Here in the East, the kids all joins some sports team - basball, soccer, lacrosse or summer ice hockey.

Her pink shirt is the perfect color for this photo to really pop. And it draws attention to her cute little lips. Good job getting a great photo of someone with a hat on - that is difficult.

Sweet! Love the pink, but the kid is obviously tough, too.

Perfection. It can be tough to get a good portrait shot of someone wearing a hat due to the shadows. Very well done!

Another wonderful portrait, an echo on how well you avoided the dreaded hat shadow. A beautiful rhinestone cowgirl! Small town parades are the best and with horses to boot!

Adorable - I love how she's a bit shy but still playing to the camera.
