Some Old Blue Glass

f/2.5 @ 1/250 -1/3EV ISO 200 50mm
I love old bottles, just ask my dear husband.  Had him dig up is grandfathers old garbage pit just so I could locate some old bottles.
My grandmother put up many a fall crop in these old Mason jars.  I don't believe any one complained of illness due to not being perfectly sealed.

The focus on that first bottle is just so crisp! It's a great composition.

I love, love, love this shot! So sharp and beautifully composed. I really like the contrast between the colors and textures of the rusty lids and the smooth glass. Plus, the cool blue background is perfect for this glass - very soothing in appearance...

The lighting on your photos is just gorgeous - are you using natural light or is it studio lighting? The blues in this shot are so captivating and it really shows the nature of the glass.

Lighting is natural northern light with reflection of white foam-board. Thanks for asking.

Great product shot. Looks like you used a light box. I love the crop and the placement of the camera on this one. I have the tendency to shoot the whole thing and then forget to crop off one side like you did. Thanks for reminding me. Oh yea, Great "Bokeh" with that 50mm lens.
