01.30.11 Statue

High country snow statues.
See the double indentation that goes down from the top of the snow line?  Those are my snowmachine tracks coming of the top of the mountain.
I felt like I was surrounded by natures made snow sculptures.
Wind, Snow and pine trees.
Isn't nature beautiful in the winter?

It can be beautiful--especially on the rare moments of sunlight on frosted trees as you've captured here.

I am loving all this scenery from you are - helps to make it seem a little cooler somehow.
We're having another 40C today, but clouds are building and hopefully we'll see some rain.

The trees are bending with the weight of the snow. Lovely

Hi!
Beautiful but cold. I'm not really fond of snow and cold. Great shot of the trees. Have a great day!

The bend in the trees adds a bit of animation and reality to this shot. It's truly gorgeous.

the wonderful trees withstand heat and ice, sunshine and storm, your very well done picture gives a good idea of that all.

What a great shot - this makes the snow look so beautiful, unlike how I feel seeing it in the yard!

Even though we have plenty of white here, I love seeing the different snowy scenes especially ones as well photographed as this one. Love the blue sky too!
