Sun Spots Macro Friday - Barb Phillips Photography

Just when you least expect it, you can find surprises.  I had planned plant some sun flowers in amongst the corn last spring.  Didn't happen, well not by me at least.  Some how some seeds managed to survive last winters snow, this springs tilling and my neglect.
Sunflowers add just a ray of happy sun shine to a rather drab green area.

My thought on a sunflower, they are -
Always looking on the bright side
Dependable
Deep rooted
Charitable
Giving
Survivors

When I find who or how this sunflower ended up in my garden, I am going to have to thank them.  Now I have a sun spot all my own.

It's what sunflowers do."

Sunflowers sure makes the lightning glow. Nature often surprises us by showing new plants where we have not planted them and often the mix of colors surprise and I would never think of it but it's great mostly, natures own artwork
