Fall Is In the Air

Greeting There!!  Guess What? It's finally fall, pumpkins are in the store and I am not ready for this summer to end.  Where did summer go?  I think I had almost 3 weeks and then POOF it was gone.  I am so not ready for this.  Not ready for coats, glove, sweaters, tans fading and WINTER!
BUT I do have to admit -   I love FALL.  The cool weather and the changing of the landscapes, the fall colors that are everywhere.  If you haven't done so yet, go out and capture some Fall colors up close or wide angle.

What a great idea! I can't always answer basic photography questions so I appreciate that you're doing this.

oh am I am so glad you are doing this! I have a question!

So I'm wondering, unless you have a very specific goal in mind settings-wise, is there a benefit to going all manual? (versus aperture priority or shutter priority) It seems like if you go manual and select your aperture, for example, you're still letting the camera tell you what your shutter speed is when you meter. So unless you are going for something *really* specific, is there a benefit to shooting in manual? Since it takes that extra step and therefore extra time, I'm wondering if it's worth it or only in special situations.

I really hope that made sense :)

Today is a typical Fall rainy day...but it is supposed to clear and get up to 89 degrees later! Your bright orange pumpkins made my morning...I can hardly wait for the leaves to change...I LOVE Fall!
