122 - 05.02.10 - Affections Portrait

Affection comes in many sizes and styles.  The affection I love most is that of small children.  Children if given the chance show affection unconditionally.  I love the innocence of youth, wish you could bottle it and save it for a rainy day.
Getting forgotten during a wedding can be very hard for some but not for the little ones.  I think that they would rather be forgotten on events such as this.
One of the things that I like doing is shooting second at family events, it takes the pressure off me as I don't have to capture all the important things.  No, my role it to capture the behind the scene events.  Those that nobody sees unless they have the time.  I like to wait, wait and wait some more to give people time to relax and get on with the party before I take a shot.

Wonderful advice for getting great people shots! The little guy looks like he is just enduring the attention of the little girl out of sheer affection. ;-)

I think that what she is saying is just worth being so close to her. Sweet.
