I am fortunate enough to still have my metal lunch box that I used while in grade school some 40 years ago. Gosh that sounds like a long time ago when you put it in writing.

It sits atop my kitchen cupboard and reminds be of all the tuna sandwiches my mother made. She tried once to get me to eat peanut butter ones but soon found out that they went straight to the garbage. Can you say, YUK-O? Anyway, my lunch box holds nothing but fond memories of friends, school and growing pains.

That is the prettiest lunch box I have ever seen. What a lovely treasure to have. We didn't have lunch boxes in Ireland LOL.
Love the age and the patterns...great photo angle too.
What a treasure! Love the character of the rust!
what a lovely box and a great memory of the past ;-) In Sweden we don't use those. Really shows how much it has been used back then
I can't believe you still have your lunchbox...love the girlie patterns and the personality it still shows after all these years! FUN!
Love the blog Barb, you have some very captivating pictures, I can't wait to see more!
I like the angle you presented this at Barb.
Too cute! I love the angle and the crop. Blue background was a good choice.
how cool! I have a couple of these that I started collecting about ten years back. I love that this one was YOUR OWN!
What a super shot, Barb! I, too, like the perspective you took on it and the crop as well. Plus, your colors are so sweet. It's a great lunchbox too. Mine was a Disney school bus and I loved it so much!
I really like how you shot this and the cropping. Very good and yes "Fond Memories".
