Meditative

Black and White that is what this photo called for.  Trees are heavy with snow.  Birds are no where to be seen and I am just ahead of another snow storm.  Photo is of the trees behind the Caribou Gaurd Station just past Bone, Idaho. Had to leave the big camera home as there wasn't any room on my snow machine this time

Those trees look so tall too. Very nice and the black and white sure does it justice.

Idaho is a state I've never visited by you make it look very attractive as a destination. This is a lovely scene...

So crisp! I really like the high contrast--it intensifies the cold.

I agree...B&W is the way to go with so many winter scenes..nicely done, compelling image!

Black & white was a great choice for this image. My favorite part of winter is when it is snowing or immediately thereafter. There is a wonderful quiet in the world. I like your image for Meditative.
