Jill Samter and Ashley Sisk have put together not only a weekly photo challenge, complete with a weekly theme, they are also teaching and sharing their photo editing. IMHO, it's always good to learn a new way of dressing up or finishing a somewhat ordinary photo and turning them into something extraordinary .
This weeks theme was - Turn On The Hose -
Would have been fun to have some little ones to photograph as they were playing outdoors in the summer heat, running and jumping through the hose to cool off. But not this week. No little ones around and the air temp is just a bit to cool for summer hose activities.
I have had to resort to the good of sprinkler on the flowers theme.
Taken facing west with that early morning sun to my back. Metered two clicks to the positive side of zero.
I used my 300mm lens and zoomed all the way in so that the background would be mostly blurred out and not distracting.
My camera settings are - Manual Mode (as that is the only way I know how)
f/5.6 @ 1/640 ISO 320
I can tell that I have lost some of the details are lost as well as some of the petal being over exposed.
Thursday I will be sharing how and what I did to fix my photo problems.
