Good Ol Days

Theme #321 The Good Old Days
I have gone past this old tree house for years and kept telling myself that I had better stop and get a shot or two before it was gone.
I wonder how long it took to build, where did the supplies come from, what imaginary fantasies were played out here? Will the grand kids get to play here or will it just sit by the side of the road to live out it days before completely falling to decay?
This is such the perfect tree for building a tree house, not the Robinson and Caruso type but so fitting for a one dwelling adventure. Those had to be the good old days with imaginary friends, families and tree houses.

The greatest thing is that it appears to have had only minimal adult participation over the generations that went into it. Thanks for the view.

When we were little we lived in our tree house - that is awesome and I am sure it has supplied some lucky child with hours of pleasure!

Clean it out and make certain all of the boards are sturdy and let some kids know it is ready for occupancy and they will come. :D Nice shot. Great take for the theme.

I remember building a few tree houses when I was young - you don't see them much anymore. Great photos you've captured.
