It's late and no one is around so I thought I would work a little on PSE7. Scrounged up a old photo of last years sunrise and thought it would look pretty nifty with a grunge look. So here is my first attempt at doing textures. Seem pretty simple really but I know that I am probably doing it the hard way as it took me forever to get it together.

I don't understand grunge, I have tried and I just don't get it, I have looked at this for quite a while now and all I want to see is the original sunset. Sorry I'm not artistic I guess.
I think you nailed the technique - looks really good for your first attempt, you should see my first attempts - couldn't even tell there was a texture added - LOL!

Better than I could do, might be even better if you lower the opacity just a bit more....
Beautiful...looks like it should be on the cover of something! All those muted colors and the textures are amazing!
